TOMASZ KRĘCICKI WIEŻE CIŚNIEŃ / WATER TOWERS
Conceived as an exhibition in the form of a book, the publication contains reproductions of 94 of Kręcicki's charcoal drawings created over the past year. The images of falling towers are accompanied by a poetic text by Aldona Kopkiewicz. The author of the concept and graphic design is Agata Biskup.
"What surprised me most about 2020 was the passage of time. There is no single experience of the year of the pandemic: the person who was stuck unemployed at home experienced it differently from the one who lived locked in work and school. We were all locked into what was basic in order to survive. This confined space of life transformed time - thanks to the pandemic, it occurred to me how much my sense of time is tied to a specific space, to events and people."
