Tiempo Partido General Idea

Published in conjunction with the exhibition General Idea: Broken Time, MALBA, Buenos Aires (March 24 – June 25, 2017) this 180-page catalog includes a wide selection of photos that reviews the production and aesthetics of General Idea, as well as different views of the exhibition hall at the Jumex Museum, where the exhibition was previously presented between October and February 2017.

The catalog includes four essays: Mythical time: a guide to not get lost in the viral trajectory of General Idea by curator Agustín Pérez Rubio; Paraphernalia by Gabriel Villalobos; History pages: El dorado (Maracaibo); Fin de Siècle by Ivo Mesquita and Espectros de un virus, by Francesco Scasciamacchia.
