Vogt + Weizenegger have made this futuristic vision a reality: with the sinter machine by 3D-Systems they employ a brand new technology, previously only used for design by the automotive and aerospace industries. It is only by this sinter technique that the complex and individualised design of the SINTERCHAIR® may be realised, with its hive structure able to emulate static, natural structures in their multitude of manifestations. Personal customer preferences derived from a questionnaire are incorporated to the design of the chair. A unique copy is generated, that is intimately connected with the individual biographies of their owners.
