Two custom-made snare drums — one standing on the floor, the other suspended from the ceiling at a slight angle — whose silhouette is somewhat reminiscent of the character from the eponymous 1980s video-game. The snare drums conceal a set of inbuilt speakers, playing high and midrange frequencies (corresponding to the audible sounds) and inaudible low frequencies (that create vibrations on the drum skin, prompting the rat-a-tat of drumsticks).
