Roman Ondak Pathology, 1995
Offset print on paper, used can, plaster of Paris
7 x 8,5 x 8,5 cm
The work is a short, standard-sized tin can with a simple paper label. The offset-printed label bears no images or graphic design, merely a few words in an antiquated serif typeface. It is an exact remake of the interior title page of a medical publication, “Pathology of the central nervous system”. The book, written in 1945 by Cyril Courville, was a benchmark in the science of neuropathology.
