se/one half is a 12-part installation of the artist's gesso panels with embedded copper wires. Excavated from the layers of gesso through a lengthy process of hand-sanding, the fine wires shine in delicate parallel lines. The distance between the copper wires varies from one panel to another, evoking the changing light over the course of a day.
