Cast from semi-transparent resin, Geist (Ghost) seems to depict a face covered in strips of fabric, reminiscent of a mummy. The work is based on Martin Honert’s memories of the French made-for-television film Belphégor: Le Fantôme du Louvre, directed by Claude Barma in 1965, shown on German television in 1967.
