The work consists of a small modified branch suspended as if in mid-air by thin elastic ropes that extend from ceiling to floor. The branch has been split longitudinally and its two parts are held together—and kept apart—by fine wires. The delicate organic structure appears to float in the room, slightly quivering when the elastic ropes vibrate.
