Made from laser-cut stainless steel sheets, the individual pieces that make up the work are laid flat on the ground. The mirror polished surface has a high sheen, reflecting its surroundings but in the process also projecting the work’s geometric pattern on the spectators’ view of their environment. In combination with the overall shape, which recalls that of a liquid puddle, the linear pattern destabilizes the distinction between fluidity and rigidity.
