The work is from a series of unique prints produced around 1995-1996 in the context of Julia Scher's American Fibroid project, first presented at Andrea Rosen Gallery in March 1996. Combining picture and text, each work was printed on a sheet of standard typing paper using a then-state of the art dot matrix printer. The images were produced using collage and digital modifications.
