Surveillance Bed III is an iteration of Julia Scher's series Surveillance Bed, first realized in 1994. The installation consists of a bed with 4 poles mounted with security cameras and monitors. Visitors are invited to lie on the bed, while cameras film them. This live recording is screened on monitors fixed to the bed, sometimes switching with pre-recorded video material.
