Wooden crate with customized CNC cut thermally insulated foam, objects

The work consists of a custom-made wooden crate containing especially produced insulated foam with thermally cut indentations. The customized padding holds a number of objects—organic and man-made, specific and abstract, old and new. The work has a performative element: individual groups of objects can be removed and displayed nearby. The exact constellation of the groupings has been determined by the artist during the works first presentation, where combinations of elements presented outside the crate changed weekly. During these moments, the openings in the foam remained empty, referring to the absent parts.
