A stage for the exhibition of the two previous acts; a black ice rink awaiting a musical event. The un-choreographed movements of a dancer scratch the black surface, which is then left to undergo a long transformation. The ceiling light reproduces the light strikes released by magnetic storms. The soundtrack is Music for Airports 4 by Brian Eno.
A libretto, the program for the musical event in three acts based on the expedition. A navigation through stratification of textual and iconographic archives, used as speculative material such as the novel by Edgar Allan Poe translated by Charles Baudelaire and the response by Jules Verne, the mathematical structure given to a Busby Berkeley musical by the Polytopes of Iannis Xenakis, or Giotto’s painting of St. Francis of Assisi for his first expedition.
