1mx1m consists of 1 meter long folding rulers or yardsticks. Unfolded and aligned horizontally the yardsticks create a square surface, 1 m x 1 m. Now without function, the folding rulers are both motif and medium from which this minimal work is created. The small brass dots of the hinges that connect the 10 individual elements of the yardsticks line up to form a pattern.
