Jean Pascal Flavien has imagined a house that bespeaks certain circumstances (technical, aesthetic and existential) but which in turn may also itself produce such conditions. The house is generated from settings imposed by the artist and/or requirements determined by function and imagined site, creating a vivid impression that is precise and concrete but also poetic and evocative.
