Ryan Gander And You Will Be Changed (Centre Pompidou, Paris), 2014

The video shows a guided tour given by curator Emma Lavigne through Pierre Huyghe's 2013 retrospective at the Centre Pompidou in Paris after its dismantling. The exhibition space is empty save for the walls, remnants and dusty outlines of where the works were (for example, a purple trace on the floor where the heap of pink sand was or traces of the dark handprints visitors made next to the black ice rink). The curator appears unaware of the absence of the works, pointing in direction of where they had been installed.
