A game to be played or looked at. A Game Of War (Terrain) is a life-sized, interactive board game installation comprised of abstracted game pieces and a vinyl wall text. It is designed to be played by two opposing players on a game board of 500 squares arranged in rows of 20 by 25. Gillick’s installation is a new design of a strategic board game developed by French situationist Guy Debord in 1977.
