The diptych Chaviré, Soukouss, Liberation is composed of two paintings executed in oil on linen that are set in hand-carved wooden frames with hand-painted and -carved wooden wings. The title of the work Chaviré, Soukouss, Liberation written in Guadeloupian Creole translates to capsized, tremor, liberation. Radin in this instance is exploring the themes mentioned in the title. Present in the diptych, two figures bend backwards as if falling or dancing. As they fall, masks worn by the figures also fall from their faces. The setting and background of the scene is comprised of checkered colors and geometric architectural elements. The addition of the wooden wings, double as imagery for the painted scene. One can imagine that they represent mystical wings denoting the figures as either fallen angels, who lose their divinity upon reaching Earth, or that the figures are ascending into celestial forms.
