Thomias Radin WEB: The link that connects us all, 2024

WEB: The link that connects us all presents a major motif explored by Radin. Comprised of oil on linen, set in a hand-carved wooden frame with appliques, this work references Radin’s fascination with movement. Checkered tiles outline the main scene of a labyrinth like web the title refers to, that generates geometrical thin lines connecting the different perspective planes in the work. In the various twisted and tangled webs are the architectural and rational design elements harmoniously transposing. A dancing body as well as the mystical suggested elements of overseeing eyes at the top of the labyrinth web confirm that the link which connects us all, is movement.
