Knallerbsen und Feder is a work from Annette Kelm’s series of floral still-life arrangements. The work depicts a playful composition of snap pea plants in white and pink placed next to each other with a sturdy metal spring and colorful ribbons. The metal spring is a recurring object in her flower series, as her studio is located in a former factory of springs – two ribbons in yellow and red flow playfully through the arrangement, creating a connection between the objects that have been placed together.
