Set against the background of what appears to be a darkened room with three lit candles placed in the foreground of the composition, a floral element in red and green, placed in a glass or vase, stands below a bright circular disc in the painting's center. Visible on the right is a blue are with a black disc, perhaps suggesting a window with a sliver of sea and moon.
